General Tips
Do you know where your stopcock valve is?
The internal one and the one at the property boundary.
Does it work? You (or your plumber) may need it urgently !!
Turn your stopcock off then on again four times a year,
to keep the limescale from seizing up the valve.

Yes, we all know how we suffer from an industry that seems to have
much more "clout" than the Government. Answer? Use less gas.
When I first arrived in Basingstoke, I bought a house with
a rather outdated central heating system.
After the first winter I fitted T.R.V.'s
( TRV = Thermostatic Radiator Valve. Controls heating level room by room.)
right through the house. It cut my gas bill by 19%.
Also, the house was evenly heated and MUCH more comfortable!!
How Much is 19% of YOUR gas bill ?
